Guerrero Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu & Mixed Martial Arts Academy in Verona, New Jersey is dedicated to the highest quality of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Mixed Marial Arts, Women's Self Defense, and Children's Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu instruction in the area of Cedar Grove, Montclair, Bloomfield, Caldwell, Verona, Essex County, & Northern New Jersey.  We are the Official New Jersey Representative of Legendary 8th Degree Black Belt World Champion Rigan Machado & Top Rigan Machado Black Belt Professor Marcos Santos, and we are the first and only Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Academy in New Jersey that is affiliated with the International Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Federation.

We teach our students how to defend themselves in a realistic self defense situation by using the proven methods of the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu system created by Grand Master Carlos Gracie and Grand Master Helio Gracie. We incorporate in our Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu instruction both the philosophies of Gracie Jiu-Jitsu & Machado Jiu-Jitsu to give our student a very open minded and creative approach to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu training.

We are committed to continually enhancing our programs to address exercises, drills, safety tips and a realistic approach to self-defense.  We offer a flexible schedule with Morning Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu classes, Afternoon Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu classes, and Night Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu classes to satisfy your thirst for knowledge at anytime of the day. We employ full time instructors whose sole purpose is to continue the advancement of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for the Academy and for the student. We “Build Confidence Through Achievement” and provide an environment conducive to positive relationships, fostering self-discipline, self-confidence and self-respect.
