Today marks 1 month since I've joined and I can say it's been nothing but a pleasure. I started at the West Orange location with Instructor Jacquim. Very down to earth and professional! I met other students and more staff at Caldwell and everyone is welcoming and encouraging in the learning process. I knew I was going to get back into BJJ and glad I went with Guerrero Martial Arts. I encourage anyone curious about it to just try it out.
I started BJJ and Kickboxing at Guerrero Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Mixed Martial Arts in early summer 2016. It has been a phenomenal experience in terms of physical results and skills development. The academy's culture is very family oriented. There is a strong focus of technical proficiency and safety. All of the instructors are very personable, patient and willing to go the extra mile to help you become more proficient. The level collaboration among higher ranked and lower ranked students is unbelievably impressive: everyone is always willing to help you developed technically. I have been there for less than 1 year, but I feel as though I have been training with my instructors and training partners for over 20 years: it is a very friendly and welcoming environment for kids and adults.
